My Grandfather's Dresser

My Grandfather's Dresser was our first full length puppet show. It was performed at the Prairie Theatre Exchange during the 2013 WInnipeg Fringe Theatre Festival.

The story is about a girl named Chouko who goes through the dresser of her recently deceased grandfather. Each item she finds, reminds her of a story that her grandfather told her. The stories are acted out using many different form of puppetry including life-sized puppets, glove puppets, shadow, marionettes, glow in the dark puppets and even a 5 meter long giant centipede. All of the stories were based on Japanese folk-tales.
